Welcome to the “What’s On, Neuroscientist?” (WasON) survey.

This survey is conducted by the SANe and MInD groups of the MoMiLab research unit at the IMT School for Advanced Studies Lucca (Italy).

The aim of the study is to investigate how people with a background in the neuroscientific field establish associations between cognitive states and fMRI maps of activations. During the survey you will be presented with a series of whole-brain maps. You will be asked to indicate the label standing for what cognitive state, domain or function you think is more likely recruited given the map currently visualized. The WasON survey takes around 20 minutes. Throughout the survey, you will be always able to monitor the progress of completing the questionnaire and to stop it, just by closing the window from your internet browser. Please, use your PC or mobile device to complete the survey and try to avoid any interruption or distraction.

Your responses will be completely anonymous. At the beginning of the survey, we will ask you to provide information about your background in the neuroscientific field. However, it will be impossible for us to identify you through that information and your privacy will be always preserved throughout the questionnaire. Moreover, collected data will be accessed only by IMT School researchers and only for research purposes.
